Animal Behaviourist

Irish Therapy Dogs Juniors were Very Privileged to have Jim Stephens once again share his extensive knowledge and expertise with them on Sunday 11th March 2018.

Jim is a Consultant to the Irish Kennel Club on animal behavioural matters.  Jim is recognised as one of the most qualified animal behaviourists in the country, holding a Masters Degree from Southampton University in Companion animal behaviour counselling.  He speaks regularly on all aspects of dog and feline behaviours and writes for several national publications, as well as appearing on TV and radio.  Jim acts as a club representative on the Irish Kennel Club Ard Chomhaire, where he also serves on the  Agility, Obedience & Working Trials Committee.

a Big Thank You Jim from all the Juniors who have benefited very much from your help and support.

They will want you back Jim, no doubt !!!!

The West’s Awake !

 

 

Irish Therapy Dogs would like to thank the Galway/Mayo Volunteers who traveled, some through difficult weather conditions, to attend the Volunteers’ Meeting held at the weekend in Tuam, Co. Galway. The meeting was a great success due mainly to the enthusiasm and commitment of those who attended, which is encouraging for the future of the organisation in the Galway/Mayo Area.

Cork and Kerry Volunteers’ Meeting

Irish Therapy Dogs would like to thank the Cork/Kerry Volunteers who traveled to attend the Volunteers’ Meeting held at the weekend in Blarney, Co. Cork. The meeting was a great success due mainly to the enthusiasm and commitment of those who attended.

Irish Therapy Dogs would like to thank St. Joseph’s Parish, Glasthule for facilitating our Annual Cake Sale on Sunday 14th January 2018. We appreciate the support and acknowledgement given by the parishioners of Glasthule to our Charity. A sincere thank you to Ann, Angela, Nora and those who gave of their culinary skills and to all who very kindly supported us on the day.

CAKE SALE

I don’t know about my fellow 4-legged friends, but my Owner has me working day and night, baking for Sunday’s Cake Sale…. Hope all our Volunteers are looking forward to it.  I know my Owner is.  Meanwhile, we doggies can stay home for a well earned rest.
