There was great excitement in St. Matthew’s Primary School, Sandymount when Irish Therapy Dogs visited recently. A sincere thank you to Principal Naomi Rousseau, the staff and pupils for their warm welcome. Thank you also to our Volunteer Visiting Teams who were present on the day.
Tails wagged, smiles and laughter abounded, as the boys and girls interacted, petted, hugged and chatted with the dogs. As with all School Visits another very special day that will be remembered and cherished by both the children and our Volunteers alike.
Top Marks to our Junior Member Lara for all the work and effort that she put into organizing the school visit and the ‘odd shoe and sock day’ held on that day. Thank you for a job very well done Lara!
