Pet Expo 2014

A sincere thank you to all our Volunteer Visiting Teams and our Junior Members, who travelled from far and near, for their presence at our very attractive Exhibition Stand at Pet Expo on Saturday and Sunday, November 22nd and 23rd.  Our dogs and their owners gave a warm welcome, with plenty of ‘wagging tails’, to all who visited our Stand and this was reflected by the interest and support shown in the work of Irish Therapy Dogs.  There was a demonstration held on both afternoons where Volunteers simulated visits to Care Centres and Schools and showed the therapeutic effect that Therapy Dogs have. We hope that, in the future, we will welcome back some of the visitors to our Stand as Volunteer Visiting Teams.
