Irish Therapy Dogs would like to thank the Cork/Kerry Volunteers who travelled to attend the Volunteers’ Meeting held at the weekend in Blarney, Co. Cork . Dunboyne 1Thank you to Dunboyne Scouts Fireanna, Abbie, Rose, Ella and Maeve who held a Cake Sale recently and donated the proceeds to Irish Therapy Dogs. The girls chose to work with Irish Therapy Dogs over a number of weeks earlier this year to achieve their Gold Medal Award. Congratulations on winning two awards as a result of your efforts!

Awareness Day, Bank of Ireland, Wicklow,

Bronte and LucyIrish Therapy Dogs would like to thank the Management and Staff at the Bank of Ireland, Main Street, Wicklow  for the warm and generous welcome extended to us at our Awareness Day held there yesterday. The event was very successful and we acknowledge the interest shown by their customers in the services we provide to Care Centres and Schools. We hope that, in the future, we will welcome back some of their customers as Volunteer Visiting Teams. We appreciate the support and promotion given by Bank of Ireland, Wicklow, to Irish Therapy Dogs. Thank you also to the Bank of Ireland’s “Giving Together Initiative”, for their generous donation.

Image (64)Junior Member Kellie gave a very professional presentation to her Form Year at St. Andrew’s College, Booterstown recently. The subjects were the work of Irish Therapy Dogs and looking after your pets. Afterwards the proceeds of the Copper Crawl by her year was presented to Irish Therapy Dogs. Thank you Kellie for nominating Irish Therapy Dogs to the Second Year School Student Council as one of two Charities to benefit from this Fundraising Event!

Copper Crawl

A Copper Crawl was held recently at St. Andrew’s College, Boooterstown. 2T was the winning form with their Copper Crawl measuring just over 254 metres. Thank you to the Second Year Student Council who nominated Irish Therapy Dogs as one of two charities supported by the event.
